Here’s why everyone deserves the VIP treatment:

If you're a live calligrapher, you’ll totally get this. You’re in the middle of personalizing something, and there’s a whole line of items waiting for you. Then someone comes over and says, “Hey, this one’s kind of special—it’s for the owner.” (Or CEO, or Founder—you know the drill.)

Translation: maybe spend a little extra time on this one. Add some flair. Or flourishing.

That actually happened to us recently at a live event. I slid the item over to my husband and explained the request, and without missing a beat he goes, “Everyone gets the CEO treatment from me” (in the most non-pretentious way, I promise!) 😂

And honestly? That hit. It was such a simple way to explain a mindset I’d never quite put into words.

Because when you think about it, everyone is a CEO of something. Maybe it's their household, their small biz, their friend group’s vacation plans (you know who I’m talking about). Whatever it is, it matters. And when you approach every piece like it’s for someone important (because it is), you end up creating your best work, every time.
