You plan the event, we bring the handwritten experience. Whether it’s an intentional place card or a live engraving station, Handsome Ink is an Austin studio focused on the experience of live artistry (and beyond).
We’ve brought live calligraphy and engraving to brand activations and private events for companies including Dell, Netflix, Visa, Dior, Ulta, and Kendra Scott. We work cleanly, stay true to your brand standards, and leave guests with something they’ll actually keep (and that will fit in their carry-on after the race).

Custom bespoke place cards for any VIP dinner or high-end luncheon. Place cards can be created ahead-of-time in our Austin studio, on-site at your desired venue before the event, or a hybrid of both to accommodate any last minute guest additions.
on-site artistry
Choose a luxury experience for your VIP event. Unique activations like on-site engraving, foiling or calligraphy are a high-brand touchpoint and allow your guests to take home an extra special personalized heirloom with their name on it.
VIP Gifting
When a guest has everything (and more), a beautifully engraved keepsake leaves a lasting impression. Unique luxury gifts are the perfect hotel room reception piece and can fit in a packed suitcase for next week’s race.

3-hour station $1,200 (one artist) Approximately 90–150 pieces, depending on complexity
2-hour minimum $800
Additional hour $350
Travel within 30 miles of Austin is included.
Optional additions include a second artist, pre-event samples, specialty surfaces, station hosts and additional hours

In-studio place cards start at $6 per place card, depending on substrate and material (first and last name).
Want us to be on-site to create your place cards? No problem — our 2-hour minimum rate starts at $800.
We also offer a hybrid package. Hire us to execute the bulk of your guest place cards in our studio, and come on-site for last minute guest additions.

We keep our race weekend schedule intentionally limited so the work stays focused and the quality stays high. A small number of stations remain for October 20–25.
